See my edit to my reply, but yes, ugly, almost in a Cyber Truck sort of way. I prefer their older, smaller, and tasteful front grille.
I can't warm up to that bmw, but strangely I'm liking the cyber truck.

My current short list is
e63 amg wagon
corvette e-ray
and yeah... cyber truck... It probably won't win.

so, who knows... I bought a prius after all. I liked that the pod car looked different than anything else on the road.
It's been a good car, easily the lowest maintenance cost car that I've owned...

Hmm, I suppose that I could tow some of the farm trailers with the cyber truck tho, then I could depreciate it.

I had no idea you were in need. I can build you a headphone stand so you don’t crush the Vali.😂
Thank you, anyway! If worse --> worse, I'll just use my head as the stand ..... 🤪

Used car prices are plummeting! I had a quote for J's Nissan that has gone form $5K down to $500 in the space of a few months. Idiotic.
Indeed .... nationally, the Manheim used vehicle price index has fallen 22% since the peak in the spring of 2021.
IMG_7733.jpeg
That 2021 peak was fueled by COVID induced shipment delays, inventory shortages, etc.

In early January 2022, I bought a brand new car for two grand over sticker and traded in my used one for eight grand over Blue Book. Low mileage and overall great condition, so they expected to make a killing on it, I guess.
According to Carfax records, it remained on their lot for another six or seven months, during which the market recovered a bit and the car lost almost the entire margin that they added on top of its Blue Book value.
I would feel bad for them, but they're car salesmen. They'll live.
