...so I made more than one 💧trip there...fueled by many free beers in the process. 🤣

Sounds great!

How 'bout some more beans Mr. Taggert?

There are as many ways to make chili as there are to make pizza. I'm agnostic as to the beans/no beans question. I've started making mine by re-hydrating dried chilis (New Mexico, guajillo, ancho, whatever I can find) and blending them for the braise instead of using powders. Delicious! My current favorite recipe -

This is the way.

In wrapping up some mini speaker builds I came across more tiger maple that I had cut to perfect sizes for a Schiit mini rack build by accident. This time the stripes are horizontal compared to @bcowen’s build.🤪 After I finish other projects I will do that build. If any of you have an interest PM me. IMG_7671.jpeg

And I have five shelves and the base acts as a shelf, but that is overkill for most people. Maybe the maple with lacewood?IMG_7672.jpeg

I have spent a lot of time in Chicago and nearly always had deep dish pizza. I like New York style as well. College towns also tend to have wonderful pizza since there is a lot of competition.
Bro you nailed Fayetteville with this comment. We have some incredible Pizza Places here, including Damn Good Pies , Woodstone Craft, Wicked Woodstone, Gusano's (chicago), another dozen easily.

So, fellow Schiitizens… which will come first:

1. The total solar Eclipse Monday PM April 8th?

Or

2. The breaking of the 10,000 page barrier here?

My money is on this thread, but…
interesting conflux there

In response to the request for favorite tunes, here are a few of mine:

1) Lara Fabian performing ‘l'homme qui n'avait pas de maison’; (The homeless man’). (My 3 years of French in high school do have a use!)

2) Judy Collins singing one of Donovan’s pieces of head music: ‘Sonny Goodge Street’

3) Pink Martini performing: ‘And Then You’re Gone’

4) and on a classical note: Kiri the Kanawa performing ‘Bailero’ from Canteloube’s ‘Chants d’Auvergne’.
Always had a bit of a crush on Kiri!

5) I thought I would stop at 4, but I can’t leave out Etta James performing ‘At Last!’

Cheers, Jim
