Yeah I remember them being a pretty big deal when I was a youngster growing up in Austin. Might be the first time I heard anything "Arkansas" related.
I turn 50 this year so I'm no Spring Chicken anymore. As a teen I was into a ton of late 60's/ 70's music so then I actually listened to them a bit. Pretty sure they were peaking a bit before my time. I didnt actually show up in Arkansas until 88. Fayetteville is a great place and here I still sit.
A favorite group a local professor told me about are the Austin Lounge Lizards, witty southwestern musical group. And of course I listen to a bit of Asleep at the Wheel.

Give me an estimate on proper size for a rolling bowl so I can make note of it. Width, length, and depth.

Gungnir owners, I have a quick question for you:
What do you pair yours with? Meaning, what do the chains look like that you have your Gungnir in?
Mac Mini -> USB ->
or
CD Transport -> Coax ->
or
Airport Express -> Optical ->

Gungnir MB Unison -> Balanced Y split ->
Mjolinar 2 (currently: 5670 Raytheon JAN JRP - “Windmill Top Getters/ Grey Plates”) -> Balanced -> Beyerdynamic T1 & others
and
Mjolinar 3 -> Balanced -> HiFiMan Arye Stealth, Sennheiser HD650 & others
and
Gungnir single ended feeds a Pioneer Program Selector U 24 (like a giant SYS) to
Jotunheim - quick listen and youtube stuff
or
Asgard 2 -> Grado plays nice here
or
Valhalla 2 (currently: 6N3P-EB OTK Oktyabr plant, NOS 1991 and 6N6P Novosibirsk, Gold Grid & Pin, NOS 1978) -> Sennheiser HD650 outstanding here
or
Lyr OG (curently: 6SN7GT Sylvania - early 1950s 2 hole, Bottom Getter, black T-plates and copper support rods & grid posts -> Beyerdynamic DT 880, 600 ohm great here

Gungnir serves them all to glorious ends.
JMTC and all

Hmmmm.
Well certainly could be a variety of sizes but i think something up to 12"x 6" x maybe 1" would be nice in the lap or on a table. Or smaller , too.
Or flight board sized with a rectangle or square cut-out.

I would be inclined to leave it up to whatever is convenient and up to your standards.

or even a bowl... hmmm. go crazy bro lol. this was strangely hard for me to answer.

Geez. Now I can't get this out of my head... :rolling_eyes:

"Mama's got a squeeze box
She wears on her chest
And when daddy comes home
He never gets no rest
'Cause she's playing all night
And the music's all right
Mama's got a squeeze box
Daddy never sleeps at night."
Dammit, now look at what you've done.

"Oh, I can't get it out of my head
No, I can't get it out of my head
Now my old world is gone for dead
'Cause I can't get it out of my head, no, no, no, no"
