Schiit Happened: The Story of the World's Most Improbable Start-Up

Any amp with both outputs active (differential, bridged, etc) effectively sees half the impedance of the load, since it is driving it from both sides. Current output requirements double.
What is this Ohms Law thing you speak of?

@Jason Stoddard Would the Aegir 2 be suitable for driving a pair of original Quad ESL-57s? They have a difficult impedance curve and require a 33 volt peak limit.

Dear Jason,

Can we get back to cats? But first:

Of the 30 or so pieces of Schiit I own/have owned. Most require one sheet of paper. One sheet of paper makes two Sys manuals. That's a better return than the $10.00 plus schiipping I paid for one roll of Schiit toilet paper!:)

Jason, feel free to use "schiipping" where appropriate!

An 8 page manual is from one sheet of paper.

So has anyone in the Schiit Schiipping Department in the great state of Texas figured how many forests of pine trees this takes to do say 2000 Sys manuals? :) yeah, I bet not many......

And one last thing, a picture of cat in a litter box on every other square of forest destroying $10.00 plus Schiipping Schiit toilet paper would have been the cats meow.

Thank you :)

Order placed for Aegir 2.

While it will most likely replace the G-Horn in my office setup, I am going to put it up against my beloved Yamaha B2 just for kicks. Stay tuned. 😁
I'm expecting great things form Aegir 2. If it delivers on those expectations, there will be 2 GHorns in the classified section. Don't get me wrong, 2x mono-block GHorns sound INCREDIBLY good in my rig, I'm just expecting more form 1x Aegir 2. The fact Aegir 2 is now 30w x2, made this an easy decision.

Thank you for clarifying this, as many of us were left wondering what your feelings were. 🤣

Shouldn't you be sitting on your front porch waiting for the FedEx guy?

When are we going to see a Roon-Ready streamer from Schiit? Seems like it would be a nice addition to the DAC / AMP stack. You can call it Schiit-Stream!

And I must comment on the sheer volume of posts by @Ripper2860 in which he beats, resurrects, and beats again a horse in the same manner that the Cowboys, with Dak at QB, get beaten in the playoffs. :smile_cat:

Pffft. That may be the way they doe things in OK. I'm an IT guy -- I've commandeered a Musk satellite and am tracking the delivery end-to-end via a mobile app I got on Tor network.

Shouldn't you be packing?
