Hmm, any chance that Valhalla 3 will be modular? The ability to add a phono card would certainly help me…I'm still finalizing Valhalla 3. Hopefully the new transformer will be spot-on and then we can get it scheduled.
As far as features, let's make sure this is (a) really 100%, and (b) not a beeelion dollars. I think you'll be pretty happy with where it goes, though.
An important note on price. As I've noted before, there are two possible responses to increased production cost, AKA inflation:
1. Decontent to hold the price point.
2. Enhance the product to make it worth a higher price.
You're gonna be seeing us using both strategies. We can decontent via chassis and transformer, and move things down to the Corpus production line, while still delivering better products for lower cost than ever. See Midgard and Magni Unity.
Aaaand we can make things better and move them upmarket, like Lyr+. So don't be surprised if the new Valhalla 3 doesn't keep the same price point. Because if it's worth it, it's going upmarket. (Not ridiculously. We're not assholes.)
In the meantime, we have inexpensive Valhalla 2s.

Food deliveries are easy, but shipping electronics etc to non residential addresses, especially hotels, is often a no-go due to fraud. You just have to remember to properly tip the concierge and she'll get to your room. Or are you talking about pizza?
Or tube car audio!Imagine this,,,a Schiit tv set.
Those are reading glasses I use for my perusing of Head-Fi.How come? I saw you have glasses at your avatar....
Yes. I was making a joke.Food deliveries are easy, but shipping electronics etc to non residential addresses, especially hotels, is often a no-go due to fraud.

.... This might be the device with a FRONT power switch . The possible offset is an even more glaring power LED ....Imagine this,,,a Schiit tv set.
The Schiit logo would be the screen saver. Think of that swirling around in your head...even when turned off..... This might be the device with a FRONT power switch . The possible offset is an even more glaring power LED ....

That reminds me of a fellow (rumoured to be a snapped-out Rockwell engineer here in Pittsburgh) who, years ago, sported a sandwich board which read: "Did you know that 90% of the people can hear a radio when it's off?"The Schiit logo would be the screen saver. Based on Schiit's prior history with LEDs, a Schiit LED TV screen would have 200,000 nit of brightness and after 2.5 minutes the viewer would sport a tan 3 shades darker than actor George Hamilton. After 3 minutes one would develop cataracts. After 10 minutes one would have to turn around in order to evenly distribute the char. I honestly do not believe anyone could survive watching an entire 22 minute episode of 'Raising Hope'.The Schiit logo would be the screen saver. Think of that swirling around in your head...even when turned off.
Guess I need another cup of coffee...Yes. I was making a joke.
