Schiit Happened: The Story of the World's Most Improbable Start-Up

Continuing to look into these, based on current space constraints, I think I'm down to the SVS 3000 Micro and the KEF KC62. All the head to heads make me think I want the KEF but the ability to control phase/timing through the SVS app really make me concerned about not being able to tweak the KEF if it is off a bit. Outside of getting a minidsp or something anyways. Overthinking it?
IMO, space contraints also implies placement constraints, so the ability to tweak the phase/timing relative to the mains is worth having. Also, owned 2 much older KEF subs (PSW series 8" & 10" models that had cheap internal amplifier construction / poor reliability if left on "standby" 24-7).

Lol well one is whiskey and the other whisky, I am on a fixed income and it is not easy to buy Balvenie 21 that often. I have to rely on the kindness of strangers. (Borrowed quote) Today I received home made cinnamon rolls and fresh almond and cashew milk. Next is bourbon then scotch, it takes a little time to train my customers. Men get it.🤪 OMG tonight I heard a reference to Belvedere vodka, maybe @bcowen did not make up the brand after all.🙀
"Whoever you are, I have always depended on the kindness of strangers." Blanche Dubois ( Tennessee Williams). Ha! Probably my favorite quote because I was lucky enough to use it many times.

In the same boat and I’m definitely overthinking it. My tv room sub died and I don’t need some big honker let alone a duo. The mini 3000 is looking sweet but I don’t do retail (outside of half my Schiit) and all the discounts just passed.
Well, if I may..

Pick up a Velodyne SC-8 off ebay (about 170), get a small 400W amp to power it (or a Vidar :) ) and you're gtg. I have a pair that I'm feeding like that and, bliss!

I appreciate when the artwork is posted because it helps me find the exact recording that is being referenced. I've heard so much great music in classical, jazz, world, etc outside of my normal rock, prog & metal wheelhouses! My Schiit gear is getting a workout with my never ending playlist additions!
OK, some artwork...

I do not - just a fan of them! That picture is from a tour of Willet a number of years ago. We've been to many through the years. The Northwest wine & spirit offerings are still on our "must visit" list.
Nice. Now that I've taken a second look, that still is familiar. Our distillery production team toured Kentucky about a year and a half ago. Willett was very cool.

I’ve been waffling for months and passed up all the sales pre Black Friday to present. Yes, went on sale
If you're not in a rush and want SVS they have sales all the time, maybe not as good as Black Friday. IIRC, Father's day, 4th of July, etc.

I have a pair of SVS SB-1000 Pro subs and the Bluetooth app was one of the main reasons that I chose SVS. Being able to adjust the subs from my listening position is a major plus. Plus, SVS is known for very good customer service.

I own REL, Klipsch, Martin Logan, Paradigm and Elac subs and the Elac allow me to set them up from a listening position and I love that. Great for my shop as well as 7.2 system.😀

Is it just me or does Yggy (OG) sound best with 96kHz material? Or then it's a random coincidence that the best mixes/masters I've noticed are at that rate (more likely).
Yggy seems to be sample rate/bit depth agnostic. Meaning that it just sounds great no matter what you throw at it. :L3000:
