Happy BDay to me.
Listening to some Miho Hazama just now ... her music is complex and enjoyable. :)
Happy Birthday! Enjoy!

Happy birthday to @RCBinTN and Spencer! I could swear Spencer's enjoying a cigar in that pic.

The dog pics are great. Thanks to everyone! It's the best Schiitminster Dog Show Jason has put on in the ten years I've been here. :)

Sorry about the following commercial interruption but the B&O speakers brought back memories of my local Hi-fi store.
Speaking of time (phase) aligned .... Years ago (mid-1970s), I auditioned for several hours at the Georgetown / D.C. Myer-Emco [remember them?] the speakers below and the Dahlquist DQ-10s. 0B3A735A-1CCD-4C29-B49E-2F56B7DA156B.jpeg The Bang & Olufsen Beovox M-70 pair came home after two sessions of auditions. [The golden age of high(er)-end hi-fi retailing!]
Of which I still have 3 working pieces. Probably need to see a therapist as to why I still have them!

And now back to the show!

Exactly!

He loves eating his treats like that..

He also loves running around with stuffed animals in his mouth... Still a puppy.

Is that a Bob's Furniture sofa? The one I have looks extremely similar, but with 3 "seats". Microfiber type of material. Holds up really well with the dogs in my home. The sofa my wife bought (different brand and material) has little rips all over the place that I need to patch.
I believe it is. It held up well, but after 12 years, the dogs have definitely taken their toll. As of now, that one is "their" couch

I also want to buy the last call Aegir, but one of my speakers is 4 ohms, 85dB ... others are 6 ohms, sensitivity even a little bit lower ...
Yeah, I'd say snag another anyway in case you find yourself with more efficient speakers later, but if that scenario isn't in the cards, probably not worth it.

I'm planning some high volume fun with these later this week. I don't "want" to send them into shutdown, but with many things I like to see where my limit is. I think I tripped the single amp once, but by mistake. The volume was way louder than I would ever listen on purpose

I see a still in your avatar. Do you work at a distillery by chance?
I do not - just a fan of them! That picture is from a tour of Willet a number of years ago. We've been to many through the years. The Northwest wine & spirit offerings are still on our "must visit" list.

FWIW I've had a blast looking at everyone's audio kit in the last several pages (years, really). Thanks to all who have taken the time to upload photos! :beerchug:
