That's beautiful. Simply beautiful!
Thanks, it is a fun hobby. I have materials to make one more very similar with different size cutouts since I rarely build the same item twice. I covered cost of materials on this one. It is hardly labor for me when I can listen to great music while I create and have Finnegan in the shop.

If any of you beer-swilling, Pauli-Girl-chasing types  should find yourself near Aberdeen, MD, check out Prost

I had Oma's Goulash - so good! Too early in the day for beer for me but the better half had no qualms.
The whole experience was reminiscent of her trip to Germany in the 80's...

Any German restaurant that offers gulasch suppe is okay by me! In all my German travels, I never remember a choice between mild or spicy bratwurst ... :)

88.1 and 91.5 here in SoCal. FM at it's best.
I have very FOND memories of KLOS in those magical years of 1979 and 1980. Alan Ladd’s interview of Roger Waters, the Tuna Fish to the Beat… ah it was great

My go-to listening test is jazz double bass well played and recorded. While waiting for hardware upgrades for some of my Linn gear, I got to compare two different high-end speaker systems on the latest Vijay Iyer Trio's album. Linda May Han Oh, one of the very best bassists working now provided the test. Even a supposedly very good system can make double bass sound blobby and disjointed, while a truly superior handling of bass keeps the higher and very low frequencies together, think of a wave crest (higher frequencies) on sync with the body of the wave (lower frequencies).
Thanks for the idea ... hadn't heard of her before now. You might check out the bass playing of Avishai Cohen ...

Same here. My very fond memories go back when KSAN and KSJO rocked the SF Bay Area before I moved South.
