Is there an actual electrical code that specifies this? I work in a building that was specifically built for us back in 2017 and all 120V single phase outlets are oriented ground pin down. The 120VAC in the walls of the optical labs is the same way. Then we have 208V single and 3-phase. Those are specific to our equipment.
When we bought this house, built in 2006, we noticed all the outlets were installed with the grounds facing up. Somebody (the builder?) said it's to prevent a kid from crossing the hot & neutral and getting fried. I could see how that might happen, if the parents are completely vacuous people, but having my tinkerbell nightlight upside down just messed me up.
It's a day late, but it just all came together and now it makes sense.
All these years with my Yggy and never used the invert phase button. Now I finally know what it's for!!!

Does anybody know if The Beatles mono albums are available to stream or download anywhere? Or does one just have to rely on CD rips of the super expensive mono box set? And where would I even start with that?
Well, you know, those guys are known to produce some of the best karaoke stuff out there!
It's tradition for the Berlin Phil to hold their final concert of the season at their Waldbühne open air stage, and it tends to be a rather down to earth family affair. And "Berliner Luft" has, for a looooong time, been traditionally the last encore of that final concert of each season. And yes, the whistling by the audience is an integral part of the piece.

I don't think it is available for streaming or purchase to download. I can confidently say it is an excellent package despite the high price however. I got it when it first came out and the mono recordings just sound so clean and lovely. I think quite a bit better in most cases than the stereo releases. It is expensive for sure!
