I enjoy Charles Lloyd's collaboration with Lucinda Williams very much - I have listened many times.

Sorry if the following tip has already been posted, I didn't scroll back carefully through the last 397 posts to yesterday when this topic came up :) but earlier I posted a picture of a nylon housed near indestructible female 20 amp Leviton super grip plug. Handy for RV and home.

RV pedestals may be one of the most practical applications of code with the ground pin up as there's hundreds of ways for a typical extension cord to drop. Just by virtue of the pedestal cover pushing it down. There's a giant rats nest of thousands of difficult to use RV pedestal types from sea to shining sea!

Moving on, here's a handy male 20 amp plug (they come in 15 amp also) that you can set the cord to exit any old way you want in 30° increments to keep your HMHCHFC's (home made high current Hi-Fi cords) tidy. Go ahead and turn those plugs ground pin up and enjoy! They're handy around the RV also!

Here's a good album to test the dynamic range of your system:

I listened to it again last night through Gumby > Asgard 2 > Sundaras. It's amazing how much air pressure the Sundaras can build up.

I absolutely have to listen to that album. A favorite cat was named Hunter, after Hunter S. Thompson and I spent at least 30 years as a competitive archer so most likely I will listen for all the wrong reasons. Today Gumby>Incubus Elegan>Focal Utopias, with a 1950's Melz 1578 in the Incubus, as if I had a choice.

the speakers at CAPFes
360 actives? The semi-passive 360s are not at the same level, as they lack the coherence between drivers that the integrated DSP and DACs in the actives provide.

We all love music because it is that magical, right?

Wow, thanks for the heads-up on Lloyd's new album! There are some classic Lloyd-Moran collaborations ("Hagar's Song", "Rabo de Nube"), and I've heard them live together, most recently performing the music for a LINES ballet in SF, it will be interesting to hear them with Grenadier and Blade, who I really like from a lot of other work.

Absolutely, and I really do like this album, strangely enough my wife might like it as well. Finnegan crawled up on my shoulder to listen. Either that or I misplaced a sardine.

Adding 6kg per stand.. Dotting the i's.. ...
I use sand blaster beads; preferably stainless steel. The shipping cost of that stuff is crazy!

Hey, that way it clears the wall wart underneath.
Oh so true! I have several of those hydra head-styled cords that allow me to plug several wall warts into a single outlet on my power strip. Elegant? No. Functional? Yes. Things will be great when they perfect those wireless wires then we don't need things like this.
