Schiit Happened: The Story of the World's Most Improbable Start-Up
Jan 23, 2024 at 12:02 AM Post #137,191 of 150,702
I deleted some posts spreading rumors about how "we're all down with COVID."

In short, no. We have had a few people out for various reasons (including regular old flu and COVID), as I mentioned in an update a while back, but production continues apace in Texas and California.
Buyer shall expect some small delay, due to short of staff at Schiit, also disruption of flights/road traffic due to weather condition.

3 things are certain in life...

Death. Taxes. And Yggy sounding awesome.

Sing, Yggy! Sing! 😍

Two great albums!! ... the ultimate rendition of 'Autumn Leaves' (plaintive, wistful Miles followed by strutting, swaggering Cannonball .... whew!)

It comes with two new stickers, and the unit is freezing cold, will leave it warm up before a start.

Thank you @Jason Stoddard , thank you Lindsay for the arrangement.:L3000:

Not marketing. I’ve got nothing to sell. Just something that I believe is big enough to share and not fall by the wayside.

Andrew
Apologies, didn't mean that you were marketing. It's the video you refer to in your post. Jason is not in the minority on this thread about disbelieving audiophool 'truths'.

Mine are DIY Mogami 2549 - reasonably priced and another astonishing performer (😎). YMMV and WYSISYG(???)

Andrew
Agree 100% with your assessment. I can build a 1-meter pair of Mogami 2549 interconnects and Rean Neutrik connectors for less than $15. I tie the shield to the source end, only. I love the neutrality of these cables. Another great, high performance cable is Canare L-2T2S, which is sonically very similar to 2549.

I wish I could find / recall the video link - it was someone's independent test and the results were impressive.

Yep exactly, I also solder the screen to only the source end. Leaving the earth to return just through the core, while maintaining EM screening.

The standout feature of these cables is a reduction in treble glare. There is major blackground going on there.

Death. Taxes. Yggy sounding awesome. And NOS tubes are no longer made.

Sing, Yggy! Sing! 😍
FTFY.

Most people are far more tuned in to the first 3 though. 🤣

So $15k for a pair of Class D amps. Wow.

Everybody that owns a pair of Tyrs should be feeling extremely guilty right now. 🤣🤣

The way I read it it's $15K for a monobloc amp. That would make it $30K for a pair.

I agree & have made many 2549's. Also, Belden 1800F is good wire to try out.
