The problem is who gets to decide what's "false" and what's not? Thus, physics. It does not care what anyone believes.
Physics can take a few hundred years to make up its mind, however.

I probably came off as a bit picky with my universal remote wish a while back. Really though, my nakamichi preamp was a pricey item back in the 90s.
Inflation would probably make it a several thousand $ unit today. Saga s or Kara + mani or skoll + lokius in today's dollars are less than I paid for the nakamichi .
Loki max would change that formula, but then I can't adjust my tone controls by remote now.... I wouldn't be surprised if saga s or kara will out perform what I have now.
I have an adcom gtp tuner preamp with phono and remote in my computer system. That was about $600 ish new if I remember correctly . If anything like that is on the market these days, I would expect it to be much more costly as well. Guessing saga s or kara will out perform that unit as well.
I believe that Kara would. It’s the best solid state preamp I have ever heard.

I can try again, but the latter part of that post was my first attempt, so this may be a bit of repeat. Hopefully with more clarity?

...

Also, I might be wrong. But I'd be surprised and skeptical.
Lovely post, thank you!

There's a spectrum here, from the defensive artist to groupthink. Staying in that happy medium is a challenge for every engineering team.

The second best team I worked on was made of mediocre engineers who, as a group, exemplified your thoughts. The teams with multiple star engineers have generally been prima-donna sh**t shows.

Physics didn't make up its mind, it was always the same. It was the people who were in the dark ages.

**My go-to 'change the subject' line.
The Browns. I need you all to think positive thoughts about the Browns. I'm hoping for either a Eagles/Browns superbowl or a Eagles/Raven one (where the Eagles totally and completely destroy the Ravens....)

P.S. Apologize the the football talk.

Last comment on this: Doesn't help to hold up physics as the answer when it doesn't have one. And this statement seems to confuse reality with humankind's mental model of reality.
