Ditto, and that's after I sold a bunch of unused stuff a little while back.
I sold some tubes a while back, and regretted it immediately after I spent the money I received for them. I haven’t been the same since. :sob:

And when not playing records, it’s a handy place to park your bicycle.

It's OK. I sold them right back to him for a hefty profit. 😏
Guess what? You did bcowen an IRS favour: because his repurcha$e > $ale, he avoided a tax ‘wash sale’ disallowance. Bcowen owes you 😳🤣🤣🤣 !!

I'm sure he will write it off along with the square footage allowance for his tube storage closet as a business expense. 🙄

But the IRS has issued private letter rulings which clearly state that: (a) the ‘carrying value’ of any structure fabricated with Carolina blue cardboard is ZERO; (b) any markup from that value for write-off purposes will be deemed fraudulently intentional.

Actually, yes. And the LP (it has to be LP: an EP / 45 might be hard to extract 😳) need not be turned over. The brand, remember: Butt Sounding Raunchy, from the ‘sixties’? Don’t laugh, this is the progenitor of the slot-loading CD player … which early on did sound like arse … 🤣🤣🤣
You should be ashamed
