Schiit Happened: The Story of the World's Most Improbable Start-Up

Gonna be a bit more expensive for Mjolnir, which draws at least 10x the power of Sol. 100W would technically do it. I'd personally want something bigger.
Maybe overkill, I know, but if someone already has a DC battery for energy storage available, wonder if it would be feasible to interface an inexpensive 200-400W inverter that outputs 110/60 to power a MJ3 (or any NA-spec devices that don't have a universal power supply option)...

Translation: I enjoy peeking under the hood & figuring out WHY {{insert audio or engine or power-plant}} is so awesome. 🫤, no point. Just me doodling.

How about a split controller, with left in front and right in back, but with enough friction that it can act as one knob. There should be no loss of fidelity this way, and I not only have better hearing in one ear, but a room with a geometric imbalance reflection-wise.

I had a preamp like this. Maybe a Dynaco PAT5? Good in theory but there was a change of delta as you raised and lowered the volume. Good for a set and forget system though. Also, how do you implement a remote? A separate balance knob you can operate from the listening position is the best answer to this.

On a completely different note, when the power was out and Tropical Storm Harold was done, we went for a walk.

Sometimes it's fine to unplug.

Beautiful photo. Very moody.

Harold trickled North and provided some dampness on our Canadian wildfire. Long way to go, predictions are that fires might continue burning into December...

...and this year wildfire season started earlier than ever, in March. At this rate the "season" will soon be all year round.

Best part of that picture is that there's no one around. Serene.
