Schiit Happened: The Story of the World's Most Improbable Start-Up

I'm going for a totally different approach. Trying to fit the Pi and the HAT both in a Modi size box, so it can fit in the stack.
Still not sure if I can make it work. It is going to be tight, very tight or even too tight and it won't fit at all.
Working, trying, remodelling.

Wow looks great.
I think I've hit the limit on my little project. Its large and works. The front comes out a bit, still. I'm.going to sit on it over the weekend and see how I feel.

What are some of the expected sound differences for feedback vs no feedback and push-pull vs SE?
Also interested in this, but I will soon find out myself. I'm assuming the best sounding mode will be Single-ended Class-A with no feedback, but I'm excited to play around with it and test different headphones.

Very interesting this Mjolnir 3, have to wait and see some comparisons with the jot 2. Its something i'm keeping my eye on.

Great. I was afraid the diagonal cables from input to output might be too tight, if that makes any sense.
I have 6" cables between a BF2 and a Jot2 and have plenty of slack. 10"should be fine.

Kara sounds great to me. Is this a case where we might see a SE only version like an upgrade to Saga S? Or is it not cost effective? Would seem some of the heavy lifting is done (although I admittedly know nothing. )
Saga S is gone in favor of Kara, it seems!

Yes. If you really want to stop the clock on your tube's hours then you need to pull it out.
Ah, very disappointing but thanks. That's quite silly that it doesn't if the amp can otherwise run with it removed from the circuit. Hopefully the next rev can cut power off to it, I'll be holding off on it for now then.
The prospect of switching to solid state mode to avoid needing to reach behind the unit to turn it off every day so I could prolong the tube life would have been a major selling point for me but having to remove the tube entirely is even less ideal than just switching it off.
Hopefully Jason can do a minor rev to slap another relay in there to cut the heaters off.

Another huge shout-out to Jason and Crew at Schiit for a job well done. When a company provides realistic expectations but deliver (literally) well ahead of schedule, you must admire them. THAT is one sure-fire way to make customers happy! When I first read about the release of Mjolnir 3 yesterday morning (early) shipping estimates were (if I remember correctly) 1-3 days. Later that day (early afternoon) I decided to make the plunge and placed my order. Their deliveries were extended to 5-7 days. Ok, the fish are biting and are in a feeding frenzy! I just now (not even 24 hours since I ordered) received the tracking number for my MJ3!!! Talk about blowing expectations clear out of the water - you guys (and gals) are just plain amazing!

Hour into listening to MJ3 after Jot2 and wow! You wouldn’t think it could be this much better. BF2/64 and to a pair of Hifiman HE1000 stealth magnets. Will have to try with Yggy which should get a bit more detail
You have yours already!? Any basic impressions on how it improves on the Jot2? What mode are you running it in?

Ahhhhhhhhhh I wish I knew the rhyme or reason to how orders are fulfilled 😂. I ordered mine about 6:15 am pacific time and I am still waiting for a shipping notification..... Must be because I live out in the boonies.....

Dont mind me I'll just be sitting her hitting refresh on my email all weekend.... 😂.

Nice to see impressions are already rolling in..
