Listened to the Bruce Cockburn Album on Qobuz with my JBL 305's feed by Saga OG and Modius... great experience

Qobuz just served up Kronos Quartet - Folk Songs, so great!

Maybe they did not all play together on any one track. And vocalists do not count. 😜

On an unrelated note...

Anyone have experience with the Wyred 4 Sound RECOVERY USB reclocker?

https://wyred4sound.com/products/recovery

They have an ISO version offering galvanic Isolation, but given BF2 Unison is already galvanically isolated, I'm thinking just the femto clock-based USB reclocker might take it to the next level between Pi 4 Roon streamer and BF2/64.

I had a different Wyrd USB product that ended up giving me trouble, if that's of any use to you.

This looks cool, I haven't used this device specifically but tried a similarly priced device recently (ifi iPurifier 3), it produced a blacker background and more pronounced/tighter bass, but I ended up returning it to buy more music instead. I like this device better already since from the looks of it, it handles power separately, the iPurifier piggybacks off the existing power signal which is interesting...but it's worth noting my PSA Directstream Jr. doesn't have as robust of a USB implementation as Unison on the Bifrost 2. If I still had my BF2 I probably wouldn't have bothered. Only issue I have really is after trying the iFi, I want a better USB reclocker...

I'd not bother. USB audio is an asynchronous protocol, the bits it carries need to be buffered and combined with the proper clock signal by the DAC. In other words, whatever clock is used by the reclocker is irrelevant to what the DAC does with the received bits. In the dark ages of USB audio, with overloaded source PCs, bad wires, and junk USB receivers, USB reclocking might have alleviated bit losses, which would cause very noticeable audio glitches. But your Pi 4 is competent as a USB source, and Unison on the BF2/64 is an outstanding USB receiver. The USB bits will travel safely, and the BF2/64 will clock them for conversion correctly without upstream help.

Thank you. Once again, reason to the rescue! :D

That's really neat! My wife and I watch every year and always fantasize about how cool it would be to live in a town that the tour went through. I hope it was a fun and memorable experience.
It was superb @Mumbles06 .. the last time it went through the town was in 1967 ... so I am unlikely to experience that again.

A TV still as the leaders went past us (on the right) ...the Belgian Declercq in the lead at that point
