Ah should have explained - Bernie is the lead singer for Uriah Heap !! I would suggest Haibike for full sus E - bike - I had one as my company vehicle ! Yamaha centre drive and full carbon frame - very nice bit of kit and Haibike still very good
Those are meters but VU meters have another purpose, power meters are a bit closer in function but they measure different levels. The receiver I just finished has both types and the power meters also serve another function for Dolby.
A JBL Flip 6 (the much smaller cousin of the JBL Charge 5) travels with me on all of my layovers. It's not an audiophile speaker by any means but it gives me hours of enjoyment when I'm on the road.
100% true. I love having my BT speaker at work and it makes me enjoy my Schiit stack on days off.
It's easy to mock BT but having the means to listen to music in hotel rooms has been a game changer for me.
The JBL Flip 6 is what I would term an audiosmile speaker, my friend. Evidenced of course, by your hours of listening enjoyment.
Is that not what our equipment is meant to do? Yup! Let the frAudiophiles tilt at windmills.

Agreed on the SVS. I have a PB1000 Pro that, thanks to REW and the SVS app, I have the bass set perfectly in my family room setup. It just blends in, as it should, so you're not thinking "Hey! Cool sub!". Being able to adjust the settings or use presets from the app is great when changing from music to video, or shifting from jazz to rock etc. I plan on getting a second one sometime, but for now it sounds great at the prime listening seat.
