Schiit Happened: The Story of the World's Most Improbable Start-Up

I'm not a PC guy but it may help to give as much info as possible to help diagnose your issue. What software you're using, pertinent hardware details etc.
Have you tried sending Syn some non-upsampled music? Maybe some standard 44/16, 48/24 or 96/24 to see if it plays correctly?
I hope you get it worked out. Let us know.
It works fine in all other bit rates and file formats. I normally use Jriver for music but mostly do Youtube. Just watched the new Antman on iTunes in surround so that works OK. The issue is that Windows itself doesn't see the device as 352khz and maxes out at 192. And yes I have proper 352 and DSD.df files to try. Unless Windows reports the bit rate software can't play it. I'm wondering if this top cover replacement unit has a problem.

You're feeding it DSD/DSF files??
You'll have to ask Schiit directly but I'm pretty sure Syn's DAC doesn't decode DSD/DSF.
None of Schiit's products, other than the discontinued Loki DAC, natively support DSD.
(Don't confuse the Loki DAC with the Loki family of equalizers (this is on you, @Jason Stoddard )) :)

I think like the Loki became the Lokius, the bidet might be substantially better with more channels and called the bidetius.

Even if that isn't what I think, the thought of disturbing BCowen by talking about bidets makes it all worth while.

I remember Wilford Brimley’s ads about bidetius supplies.

I like my gas cooker, but am becoming more interested in induction cooktops having tried a few...
I swore by gas but it's hard to get everywhere so at this place I replaced the "contractor-grade" electric range with a Samsung induction range (it was on sale at Home Depot).

Wow! With the correct pans, it boils water faster than the "contractor-grade" microwave and heats evenly. My only fear is scratching up the glass cooktop. Very happy with it,... well, once we replaced the non-induction-friendly pots & pans. Then again, it was a good excuse to get matching pots & pans instead of the hodge podge we had
