Edit: seriously, Tyler's MBA program includes such "valuable" "wisdom" as "never price things to a standard margin, go for what the market will bear," and "always use maximum leverage, not your own cash." Yeah, have fun with those.
We're happy to hear that Tyler's MBA has been flushed .....

Oh, and the guesses: nope. None of them. They are pretty entertaining, though.
Have you been told recently that sometimes you're an evil evil man? Clever businessman, though... :-D

Will you be rolling out the Syn Vegas-Style?

The person asking the question didn't want to do the WiiM pro due to issues with a similar product.

... my SoTM neo200. ...
I liked my SoTM when I had it, then switched away from USB, then Schiit made Unison <grrr> :)

(re: "similar product" I would add "similar product by the same company". Perusing a thread of 130pp about the Wiim on another forum I see the same issues I had cropping up...)

Maybe Syn manipulates the music to evoke "sinful thoughts." IIRC, Ivana did research on the emotional effect of music.

Actually $399. Going for maximum crazy. Because we're dumb.

Let's hope he never turns his new-found knowledge toward getting a pay raise thus increasing overhead and the cost of Schiit to us consumers. :astonished:

Why would anyone take an MBA seriously when it leads to such marvels as solvent banks going bankrupt, e.g.?

Yes, Unison and a $30 usb WiFi adapter makes the SoTM the perfect ready assembled Roon endpoint. I got mine for $350 on sale. I have about $250 into my Pi endpoint with the added software licenses. I had to piece it all together.

I agree with you. I want to believe these inexpensive “chi-fi” products live up to the hype. However, reality is often different.

I’d be cautious with using iPhone/iPad for endpoint, I found Roon would randomly stop and shut down on the idevice with long listening sessions.

The benefit of running all your Schiit caseless is that you don't need to waste any money on speakers or headphones.
Also, the age old question of "black or silver?" is moot. (silver, FTW!)

Remember CD changers that would be in the trunk of the car? This is a dac that is mounted in the trunk.
I had my VW Jetta TDI upgraded with one. Alas, it only held 6 so I had to stop and swap cartridges to finish Harry Potter (don't go there, please). At least it wasn't raining....

Oh you have no idea, my friend. PCB colors are a thing, you know? 😈
Geez! I'm going back to Santa Fe where the only question is "Red or Green?" (also, state sponsored! :) )
