You should be able to set Window's bitstream pipeline as you wish. My point all along is that the perceived differences for the same lossless track is not its source provider but the pipeline settings on the user end.

I'm not using a service for streaming, just playing files from my hard drive with iTunes via usb to DAC. I've set iTunes to 24/192.
As far as I can tell, you can set windows 11 bitstream to what you want. Mine is set to 24/192. I've tried various "players" set to excuslive mode and there was no difference or there was a volume increase, and we know what that does.
I know that many people have said that computers ruin the sound without a program set to exclusive mode but I don't hear it.

I have done what I can to provide some items for the NC Schiit meet, time to work on making an amp prettier than the one I gave Cowen. I get to choose which is the prettiest.

Have you tried Mexican redheart? It has amazing grain and color. I have a bowl I tuned from it and it always gets lots of nice comments…

I actually own two pair of Cowin 'phones. One I bought because I liked the black and candy orange color scheme and the second pair because I needed a pair to listen to ocean/thunderstorm soundtracks when I can not sleep and if I do fall asleep it will not hurt as much if I break 'em.

They work for that and the black and candy orange ones look cool!
