Schiit Happened: The Story of the World's Most Improbable Start-Up

I have done what I can to provide some items for the NC Schiit meet, time to work on making an amp prettier than the one I gave Cowen. I get to choose which is the prettiest.🤪🤪2A289B7C-E64D-4AB7-9778-9DA81A5F080C.jpeg
I vote for the pear holder that's in the center of the picture, between the egg holders :)

Cardboard tubes (does that count as 2 subjects on the Schiit Sine Wave?) and textiles are being used to create partitions for Ukraine refugees.

The Paper Partition System (PPS) is quickly and easily constructed using cardboard tubes as structure and textiles as partitions. One unit takes approximately five minutes to build.
Since the war began, the system has been used in shelters in Lviv in western Ukraine, in Poland and France.

K, here's my guess on Syn.

An all digital phono preamp.

Just added to the Schiit pile. A basic Loki Mini+ as a flexible tone control. Looking forward to tweaking a couple of pots for low volume listening.
Maybe "Loudness" should come back. Who can resist a button marked "Loudness?"

Confused? Look up the Fletcher-Munson curve.

Edit: no, not Syn.

Knowing that this is a deadly syn, I feel that many of us can relate to Brad.

The great thing about a properly implemented "loudness" control is it is most pronounced at lower volumes and tapers off as the volume increases.

Yep, Syn will be next week. It may not be formally announced until the Schiitrless meet on the 30th to give us some time to build a few. But it will certainly be there.

In the meantime, a preview of Urd.

Is it just me, or is the CD upside down in the Urd? (Well, maybe right-side up for the Urd, but upside down compared to a 'typical' CD player.)
