Ah the good old Asgard 2
I look around and see three of them around my place. Not really sure why
Ah the good old Asgard 2
Discontinued.Has the Freya N been discontinued, or simply out of stock and will return?
I see the Freya N 230VAC in the closeout section. Not sure how to read into it. I'd be interested in the 115VAC.
I predict you will get one soon - no matter the price.Oh great Ripperadamus.....I would be forever in your debt.... if only you could fortel the b stock listing of some Aegir 115v Silver at original b-stock/holiday deal pricing...
I had a modi multi bit that garbled and made noises that my dad thought was blown tubes... Sent it to schitt, and was told it needed a new board. $80-100 later it was repaired and that one now lives with a friend. Bought another used one in the mean that that's left on 24/7 and never had issues. It doesn't happen often, but it is a known issue that the OG modi multibit does play garbled sound every now and then (though, I never associated it with sampling rate changes or anything else. It would just randomly do it every once in a while). Granted, a quick power cycle fixes the issue, but I assumed this is the same issue that was written about in the most recent chapter. So, not a big deal, but a minor annoyance.
Thanks for the heads up.Discontinued.
As of right now, (7) 115V Black Freya N on Closeout.. Go get one, if you want one.
N can do 6922 / 6DJ8 / 7DJ8 /7308 / PCC88 / 6Bz7, and more affordably roll in those families than the plusThanks for the heads up.
Hmmm... So, I'm sure the Freya N comes with a set of tubes. The price is right. Does the Freya N limited to the 6N1P tubes? Are there other tubes available for the Freya N?
With the Freya+ , I like the option of tube rolling with the other tube options. Price is much more than the Freya N but the tube options are greater.
The family of 12AT/U7 and compatible tubes is also available with the use of an adapter.N can do 6922 / 6DJ8 / 7DJ8 /7308 / PCC88 / 6Bz7, and more affordably roll in those families.
Spendier, but you get what you pay for. More than what you pay for, in the grand scheme of things. Kinda like Schiit.Still deciding whether the Creative T20s are good enough, I do have a pair PreSonus Eris E3.5-3.5" in my cart. I did order these speakers stands today to elevate the T20s, and more than likely, a new set of desktop speakers
Where did you get your adapters and do you like them? The family of 12AT/U7 and compatible tubes is also available with the use of an adapter.
I predict you will get one soon - no matter the price.
If you're bothered by audible relay clicks, don't even THINK about buying a Freya... just sayin'.Just got my Modi Multibit 2 in today! I don't have a SYS or similar setup to compare against my Modi 3+ and haven't had the time to anyways so I don't have much to say about sound for now. I do need to warn anyone who listens to tracks with varying sample rates that the MM2 has an audible click when switching between them (which I assume is the muting relay based on Jason's introduction). I only have 44.1kHz/16bit and 88.2kHz/24bit so I can't really say whether it is triggered by changes in sample rate, bit depth, or both.
