With each passing decade it seems I drink less than the previous decade. A little of the good stuff satisfies better than a lot of the also ran liquors, wines, and beers at this stage.

My doctor recommended I drink more, I think the thing he mentioned is called water.

Just drink Bud Light and you will fulfill that requirement.
Lol, I am trying to change over to light beer to lose some weight. I cannot fathom drinking something like Coors light. I am trying Amstel Light and Flight by Yuengling. I am open to recommendations. :beerchug:

I'll take 1 or 2 Guiness or some micro-brewed over a six pack of anything pretending to be beer.

I drink but only lightly. When I was young and in the Navy there were times of week-long binges, but as I've aged I prefer a beer or a dram of whiskey in the evening or some wine with dinner, and that's it. I have a bottle of Glenfarclas 25 in my cabinet that is still about 1/2 full, and I purchased it 15 years ago. :)
I remember those!

Oddly, I drank little before I went to sea, I lived in a TT household though it was my mother's father who had the Guinness bottling franchise and she was the arbiter of no booze.

Nowadays, for me it's mostly wine with an odd Scapa ('till the bottle is gone) and I try to limit it to a couple of glasses a day.

I agree, my foray into light beers may not last long. I know you like a good glass of port, that and whiskys tend to be my winter drinks. Those and Camus cognac.

I understand that it's like sex in a canoe!
I should be boxing up a shipment to you soon. I am spoiled by specific 6SN7’s and may have to send one rare one along so you have proper bass and mids.😜

Can I stack schiit tyr
per Jason, the vent structure (aka transformer "girdle") on the top cover is needed to keep the internals (e.g. transformer, choke, filter capacitors) cooler. direct stacking not recommended. consider using a sturdy rack / shelving to maintain at least a few inches air gap between units and on the sides where the heatsinks are.

about 7/8 the way down in this long and detailed-in-engineerese (to me that's a good thing) post from Jason:

Mescal is as smokey as I get. No additional work or apparatus required.
I'm right there with you on this topic. Single malts are for removing the finish from furniture, not for drinking. Tequila and occasionally mezcal, and red wine, are made for drinking.

I need to start drinking again, I totally feel left out of this conversation…

I am, of course, kidding.
I stopped drinking about 20 years ago as I figured I drank enough between the ages of 14 and 44 to last a lifetime and had to make a change. 2 years ago when COVID started and I was slinging code 90 to 100 hours a week to support COVID at the hospital system I work for I started discovering scotches (have tried lots of suggestions from this forum) and craft beers. I now have one beer (usually an IPA or Stout) or 3 to 5 ounces of scotch each evening. Just opened a decent Speyburn the other evening So far Highland Park 12 is my go to
