Never need to be reminded to post cats more than once!

I tried to scroll back (honest) to find who suggested Eva Cassidy to thank/admonish them...

Four hours later... YouTube Videos, Streaming... pulling out different headphones and amps... productivity out the window... but in a good way.

i bet that CD sounds awful when played on your Mitchell TT (and mis-tracks too) :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:
A friend of mine and I send pictures back and forth of albums that we're listening to. It really bugs him when I send pictures of CD's on the turntable, so of course I do it that way more often!

I was thinking about Freya. With adapter?
Jason was talking about a noval (9-pin) tube version of Freya (I suggest "Freya N") and different tube operating points (5922/6DJ8 vs 6SN7 families) recently, so I think that while adapting a 6922 to Freya might work (and hopefully not blow up), it won't be optimal.

original LISST was available in both octal (6SN7) and noval (6922) styles, presumably with the internals optimized for each tube family and operating points.

Showing my age... I've heard live everyone above except Tony Williams, but not together. Ron Carter is still very active, and a delight to listen to.

That depends on whether Elma is a dog or cat.

Dachshund with a spicy personality.

By the way, the Ragnarok is an absolute chonker. Makes Bifrost look tiny.

I have posted about Eva Cassidy on this forum, but I wouldn't claim to be the first person to do so....
I first heard the album 'Live at Blues Alley' shortly after its release, in 1998, as a demo CD for some ATC loudspeakers at a speaker specialist here in UK.
I was completely blown away, sitting in a listening room on my own.
'Tall Trees in Georgia' made a lasting impression on me.
I bought the CD shortly after hearing it and also vowed to get some ATC speakers one day, when I could afford them!
I finally got some ATC speakers ( used, SCM 100 ASLs) in 2007 and, fed with my wonderful Yggy A2, 'Live at Blues Alley' still sends shivers down my spine.
I now have all of Eva's CDs.
There aren't a huge number of recordings, as tragically, her life was cut short by cancer at just 33 years of age, and her huge talent was only fully appreciated after her death.
She left us with some beautiful performances as a lasting legacy.
