How does the Ragnarok 1 fare these days? There’s one for sale locally at a tempting price. I could see myself swapping my Marantz and Jot 2 for it.

IMHO, still ranks as a wonderful amp. I use mine primarily for speakers.

Can confirm! A friend of mine has serial number 8 (I think) of Rag 1 and it sounds great. I have Rag 2 and I think it sounds a few years better

Surprised I missed that, but I'm so use to Schiit layouts with all the Schiit I have I didn't bother to look at the diagram Good catch!

I have a Ragnarok 1, I use it as a preamp to my desktop speaker system. It runs my powered Focal monitors and a pair of subwoofers.

I also use the balanced output for headphones, I absolutely love it as a headphone amplifier, and I couldn't get a better preamp.
I have used it as a speaker amp for my LS50s it's a great amplifier.
It sits on a big giant desk right in front of me so lack of remote doesn't matter to me.

Haven't seen the exact answer to this, so hoping someone with a Lokius can answer, can I use the Lokius like a Sys? Meaning, can I run XLR from a Bifrost 2, and RCA from my phono pre amp, using the switch to go back and forth between the inputs? If so, do I need to run both outputs out via those same formats, or can I just run one output interconnect to my integrated amp? Thanks!

no, just one is needed use XLR if possible and if there are no XLR inputs on the integrated, use SE (RCA)

Hey guys,

For the virtual Schiitrmeet this month, I'll give you a tour of our Valencia location. You've been asking me about this since I did the walkthrough of Corpus Christi, so here it is! To keep things safe, we'll be doing it after pretty much everyone has gone home, so this I'm afraid you won't be able to meet many of the team. Sorry about that!
