@Jason Stoddard or others,

Sorry for this very basic question, especially after all the commentary on chasing the balanced Bigfoot (if it is ever found, it will likely have two feet, right?), but if I use the balanced outputs of my Yggy A2 into the Lokius' balanced input, will the Lokius work normally/properly if I connect my SE preamp? i.e., use Lokius' balanced inputs and then the SE outputs for my preamp?

Does/will Lokius function as a "superconverter" for balanced to SE?

(Again, sorry for this stupid question. The only thing I know about electricity is to ask because the answer usually is more complicated than it looks.)

yes, when Lokius is in "process" (rightmost switch in the up position) and not "bypass" mode

I am once again listening to my Joni Mitchell ("SIGH"...) station on Pandora via my Valhalla 2 fed by the Grace Digital Link through an S.M.S.L. Sanskrit DAC. It works okie dokie and it looks nice enough to my ego. :beerchug: I have used this set up more of late than my Emotiva XDA2 with another Grace Link. Still saving for the Magnius/Modius combo plate. :relaxed: I used to rarely wear the Grado SR225s but since I replaced the stock pads with some off brand versions in YELLOW (!), they are far more comfortable to have on. I do not think it sounds better but I do know it is much more comfy. I put a fan near the V2 and that seems to help keep it cooler. That and I raised it up with some different/larger rubber pads on the bottom of the unit.

The pads enhanced the bassificationality of the Val2 and brought the vocals up front whereas before they sounded like they were in the not up front. Nah. :ksc75smile: They just raised it up about 1/2 inch and along with the fan, helped flow air beneath the amp. It seems much cooler now. Before that it looked like it was going to be used for decorative cork and wood burning.

Life is better with a soundtrack via 'phones. And Schiit.

I am waffling on 3 and 4 right now myself, love being short staffed (like 1/3rd the staffing actually hired levels!).
I was fortunate to maintain staff. Personally I worked with my renters to make sure all had a home and food. I doubt I broke even but I can sleep at night.😉

I know I shouldn't share everything that pops into my head, but how about a fully loaded, multi-functional, super fat Raspberry Pi device called a "Pork Pi"?
Comes with a “hat”, right?
