My boy is learning how to cook. I realize some denizens here will be tempted to call DCFS since he's being exposed to dangerous cooking techniques. I believe that to be balanced by the fact there are no GE tubes in our household.

1... 2... 3... Go!

I've been comparing my Bifrost I multi-bit to my Gungnir delta-sigma. I'm collecting my notes. There are obvious differences. It's fun to listen to the differences in presentation. I won't say they are huge, but I am listening carefully to decide if they are important to me and which I prefer. I am slowly moving up the ladder: currently 79 of 97. The line continues to get longer faster than the techs can get the mods completed. I guess there's a bit of worry the Gungnir will be discontinued?

@macdonjh I've owned my Gungnir since 2013, it started out as a Delta-Sigma model with Gen 1 USB. I upgraded it to Multibit in 2015, and felt the upgrade was well worth it. I felt that it gave the sound a noticeably more organic quality. Previous to going Multibit, I directly compared it to a Bifrost Uber that I also owned. I felt that the Gungnir had a way more substantial bottom end, along with a wider soundstage. I hope Schiit keep it around for a while longer, I still want to upgrade to Unison as I'm still at Gen 2 USB.

That was also an entertaining and fascinating series. I was concerned about the start, that it might be a little dark, but the story arc ended up being very satisfying.
Tevis wrote the book about the time the first woman played in such a world tournament against men, it was in the 80's as I recall.

They took time to explain a couple things about tournament play during that time period but as computers progressed, there is too much help available for players to adjourn games now.
Picked up this funky pink base pair a couple of weeks back $50

Very nice, a couple of us ran into issues with pin solder but it is easily corrected if you own a soldering iron. I replace solder in many Russian tubes but you can generally just reflow those if they act up.

Thank you! I am a fan of Samurai films, especially so the Zatoichi series of which I have all of them, including the TV series (can not find it right now!) not so great remake/homage of just a decade or so ago. I have it too but can not find it... Lone Wolf and Cub, too!

I have a memory problem, LOL!
Criterion Collection collector here! Okay...Time to order that film! Thanks again! :beerchug:

ORT
The Lone Wolf and Cub movies are currently on one of the streaming services - I believe it's HBO max, but I might be wrong. If I am wrong, let me know and I'll so some searching.

I loved the comics/graphic novels when I was in college. There was a time when I named my computers after characters from them (restsudo, daigoro, azami, ...). About 20 years ago I discovered the mini-format comics (manga?) that told the entire story.

Oh, and welcome back, ORT. When I first started on this forum, I always wanted to emulate your style of wit and gruffness. You sir, are the master, and I am but a poor imitation.

Definitely awesome musicians. YES is still my favorite band. A shame the members can't get along. Though, Jon did a collaboration with Todmobile, on Awaken. A fantastic version.

This is really good. I sent it to my wife who is a lifelong Yes fan.
