Schiit Happened: The Story of the World's Most Improbable Start-Up

A SchiitSchmidt?
No, but that would be funny. My Schmidt-Cassegrain days were two telescopes ago (a Celestron 11" which I modified with fans, internal dew removal and flocking). The scope under wraps in the photo is a classical Cassegrain. Here's the scope uncovered, but before the interior renovations.

Telescope? Whew. I thought that was some kind of ray gun or something. And worse, it's pointed towards @Ripper2860 's house. Or better, depending on perspective.
I have no interest in what goes on at @Ripper2860's house. Thankfully, the trees block my view. :dt880smile:

Lazy (relatively) weekend project; got all the parts for some short speaker connects:

No liquified argon for the dielectric? No unicorn tears? I'll bet they aren't even blessed by Aztec shamen performing the sacred ritual. Count me out.

Nice workmanship. :)
@Paladin79's company (company name is in his header) made some speaker cable for me with the same Canare 4S11 and what appears to be the same spades. Love 'em.
He didn't mention anything about unicorn tears or Aztec shaman when I ordered but I assume it was included as part of the deal.

Not sure on the shaman thing, but he's not using unicorn tears...it's actually cat saliva from Finnegan. May be sonically similar though...

Sure why not lol.
From memory that is 14 awg wire but when you double them it becomes 11 awg, the rule of three. 😎

Nice! Do I spy the holy hand grenade in your eyepiece tray?

Unicorn tears are a sonic disaster compared to things treated with cat dander. Only thing better than regular cat dander is a cryo'd cat's dander.

In my latest TAS, Valin's review of some ridiculously pricey integrated uses Schiit as part of the vernacular.

That, and in the sidebar he admits, "...only for the fabulously wealthy and insane..." (my bold)
