Not enough demand to offer it. The phono card is still purchasable separately, though.

Something happened to Bifrost, about the time that the Black version was listed that had us all buzzing with anticipation. I am glad to finally see that there will be Bifrost 2, at a price point more Affordable Audiophile than its two more expensive siblings.
You all can thank me-- I purchased a Modi 3 b-stock last week, which like a comet heralded an upcoming event in ancient times, let me spend $79, and within a week, Schiit will introduce the product that I was waiting for, but gave up...
Actually, I needed a Modi 3 to give a fair assessment of the Burson Playmate...you know, solid-state, keeping things equal in the rigorous testing. And a Bifrost 2MB is on the list now, instead of Gumby or Yggy for future consideration.
Thanks to Jason and Mike for the hard work and effort to keep us Schiitheads happy...

But now the day has finally come!

The Asgard 3 is (almost)* exactly the amp I've been wanting for you to make, and it's finally here! And the Bifrost 2 is exactly what I wanted the successor of the original Bifrost to be.

I have my Asgard 2 for sell quite cheap here on Head-Fi if anyone is interested in saving some money!!! fyi Asgard 3 is around $227 shipped after tax and shipping fees, its a bit pricey to ship such heavy items, so its really nice they offered this at 199.
