That goes right up there with what a materials scientist I know once described as "reverse osmosis doping migration" in an IC. Yes, that must be the reason it's over heating.

Congratulations on a gorgeous product! Very tempting. I have a stupid question: If you input a single-ended signal to Freya, do you get a signal on both the single-ended and balanced outputs? And vice versa (balanced in, single-ended out)? The FAQ doesn't mention this.
