Couple months ago. It was a silent revision until someone on another forum thought the sound was different/better on his new Modi and decided to open it up.

I see that now but it wasn't announced, so I didn't know. I doubt many people did. I really like the 4490, so that's good news they switched to it.

I see No Headphone Jack so Its not an HP Amp. . It Does seem to have RCA , Optical and Coax as well as USB. in the same spots as the Modi 2 U. Damn we are like UFO Hunters or the People That swear they Saw Elvis in a gas station.
