Schiit Happened: The Story of the World's Most Improbable Start-Up

Not so secretly (now), I agree with you ORT. My tinnitus damaged hearing will always keep me from the maximum benefit of any gear, so I turn to the beauty of it too. And I grew up where the cool stuff had VU meters and have always loved them. Thankfully Schiit made EQ / tone controls cool again, so that is now possible. I long for a Schiit VU but understand that market won't (wait for it....) move the needle much.

Yah, it's got to be beautiful sound and looks for me :)
Well said, sir! My older brother has tinnitus and thinks as you do and he is right as are you! And yes, EQs are of great benefit to those with hearing problems.

Well if you insist, Rowan's Creek or Noah's mill would be wonderful if you mean for me lol. If you are talking about yourself definitely go for the Rowan's Creek if you have not tried it. @bcowen just received his mini rack and hopefully @artur9 will get his mini before the day is done. Those are not the best Glencairn glasses but at least you have something to occupy the slots on one side.
Better than the Amazon cheapos i would have bought :)
A nice touch adding the glasses for me, Good Sir.

Rowan's Creek I have indeed not yet tried, may have to grab a couple bottles of that

Probably requires a trip to our Liquor World mini-warehouse store. I always end up spending a half hour or more in that place lol.

This pic shows about a quarter of the store ...

I really think it might be available in your area but I have been wrong before.🤪 These are my favorite glasses but they can be pricey and shatter easily as my wife proved. Luckily, just like tubes I bought extra. IMG_7654.jpeg

That is Steve Reeves as Lil' Abner. My avatar is Dave Draper whom I resembled in my yoot. Both were big influences on me when I began weight training!

Nice. I was showing the pics to my son and we were thinking thats 10-12 years of 5 days a week right there.

The other side is getting christened as week speak but I'll hold off on pics to not upset anybody, but, just know it worked perfectly.

And a balance control 😜😜😇😇
.
I really am kind of holding out hope for a Schiit Unison DDC. Don't want to have to pay ~$600 for a Denefrips one and I'd love to pair Unison output and Unison Input.

You'll have to teach me how you made the labels
A rather old P-Touch with a built-in symbol library. Clear 6mm tape with black letters.

I'll be smoking my first ever brisket tomorrow morning. All thoughts and prayers appreciated....:blush:
My only advice I could offer (since I usually have to remind myself too!):

1) Start EARLY. It’s better to have extra time than not enough. If you finish with hours to spare, wrap that puppy in a towel and stick it in an empty cooler until dinner.
2) Make sure you have enough fuel, and then some!
3) Stay hydrated; a few adult beverages while you wait is standard procedure.
4) If it doesn’t come out perfect, don’t beat yourself up. Your guests will still love it!

Just.....beautiful! Tom you've outdone yourself yet again. Love it!! And everything even sounds better, 'cause maple is the best sounding wood. 🤣 (kidding....kinda)

Now you need to get out your wide angle lens and get a shot of all three tiger maple pieces I sent. It might be stripe overload.🤪
