And that’s what the sophisticated stamping and recurve chassis allowed us to do. Because we weren’t stuck in a 2D folded metal world anymore. We could create complex shapes. Shapes that allowed us to more fully expose the tube and keep heat out of the chassis. Shapes, to be frank, inspired by Lyr+, and its elaborate “funnel” to help keep it cool.

Seems like Schiit design has always been about understated elegance but now it's gon get sex-aaay!

Ordered a black Vali 3! I had some fun last weekend at the Canjam booth plugging my Mojo2 into the Vali 3 with a 3.5 to dual RCA cable. Stopped by a couple times, haha. Will be a nice portable setup that, I can bring anywhere, only needing one outlet.

oh, WOW. There's a pair on Ebay for a mere (lol) $300 bucks.

Those are NOT 2C51 tubes. 2c51 are the same type as WE 396A and are small noval (9-pin) tubes. The image above is octal (8-pin) and likely 6SN7 or a close cousin. I also suspect they are over-priced as they are not the round-plate versions.

I may get some blow-back for saying this, but the Vali 3 looks absolutely stunning in Black, while looking rather pedestrian in Sliver.

With silver knob also a new norm.

Agreed, and I’ll admit it freely - I’m John and I’m a Vali 2 and above-aholic. I have a 2, 2++, and a 3 on the way. Thamight be because I also have a thing for 5670s (enough outta you, @bcowen!). Thus far, I think the 2 reacts more to rolling than the double plus, but they’re brilliant little amps, even
with a 6SN7. And at this price, unpassuppable! Thank you, & I look forward to hearing it.

The 2 and 2+, yes. The ++ and 3 would need an adapter from 6922 to 5670 as well. Garage 1217 has one.

IMHO, silver look nice too, it will be even better with a darker grey lower chassis and an option of a black knob. Two tone is good looking, like the Heresy/Heretic.

Recently bought an aftermarket black knob for my Valhalla 2, so it is now two tone, matched the black Asgard 3 with two tone. Sweet !
