15 degrees F here today so I am going for tube warmth with an EL 34 T shirt to start.
The 12AU7 T-shirt is better suited to southern climates I suppose. Not quite as warm sounding.

Sorry to shift the Schiit sine wave of the forum thread, but I have a quick question on the wallwarts for Midgard—how long is the actual cable from plug to the end of the cable going into the wallwart itself? I’m considering getting one for my desktop with a modius and then taking my Hel+ to work and shifting my Fulla E to my laptop setup.

The tray on my Urd seems to have failed. Hadn't used it in a few weeks and now will not eject without me tilting the unit, will not fully close unless I push it shut, and doesn't read CDs. Anyone have similar issues?
I have 2 Urds. The tray on one of them failed. I sent it back for repair & it is now working well. My other Urd is now doing the same thing. Sending it back for repair as well.

That is correct. When I enter the tracking number on the USPS website, I get a blank screen. Not unusual for USPS. We will see if it arrives later today.

Site tells me out for delivery, delivered at other door, or garage door.

Does the Urd have the usual 5 year warranty Schiit gives? In any case, warranty in action by a trustworthy company!

Urd is covered by a 5-year limited warranty that covers parts and labor. One exception: the drive mechanism. That’s covered for 2 years.

I was looking at the Urd product page, and I noticed a weird discrepancy. The picture of the back of the URD looks like the USB C ports are all vertical, but the pcb photo looks like it would be horizontal, and the manual shows the usb c ports as being horizontal. So this begs the question: is the Urd vertical usb c picture from a prototype; is the vertical usb c picture actually a stealth update? Basically either your manual needs updating or two pictures on the product page need new photography.

Honest question:
Why or how does it matter which way the ports are oriented?

Also: No. It doesn't "beg the question"… ;p

I suspect the mistake comes from thinking "begging the question" is also "demanding answers".
I don't see, personally, how beggars can demand anything or even be choosy.
