Schiit Happened: The Story of the World's Most Improbable Start-Up

My big issue with the last big update with Apple's Podcast app is that they now "hide" all the downloads in obscured files inside the Library. It's one of the things that Apple does that I hate (data should be seperable form apps, and backed up that way!) and they are influencing app developers to go the same way.

Did I tell you yet that I hate that approach????

gPodder is an adequate substitute to Podcasts, though not as elegant.
Many things Apple does are just weird.

I'm home. UPS tapes a sticker to my door saying failed delivery attempt, sign here and we'll leave it. I'm heading out-of-town, so I sign the thing and leave it where they left it.

Get home, after the trip, there are two stickers right next to each other, failed delivery attempts. By the way, this was a time-critical delivery.

UPS is by far the worst.

Not even counting the myriad times where they don't update their tracking information for WEEKS AT A TIME.

I guess that leaves USPS as the winner? 😏

But have you noticed that when they do weird or bad things, it usually ends up making them more money? Of course, correlation does not equal causation, etc., blah blah blah.

True. But they were only marginally better before. 😏

Honestly - I think they're truly no worse than the others and better in some respects. I just went with the cheapest Schiit shipping option and got what I paid for. 😄

Yeah, they actually delivered packages when I put the wrong zip code on! (unlike the above story where a missing apartment no. cost 2x the shipping cost)

I've never been an ATC'er and have never even played one on TV, but my guess is that if they hear the plane before seeing it that's a very bad thing. 🤣
If ATC offered a cardboard cabinet with tiger maple vinyl wrap?

Apparently, you've never visited pornhub. BBC has an entirely different meaning.
I'm happy if what goes on in your house stays in your house.

FedEx: as much as I hate not being able to count on their delivery dates, I really like the ability to direct my package to a nearby Walgreens. Foils porch pirates and I haven't had a door sticker in a long time.

I'm gonna hold out a few days to make sure it is fully baked and I'm hearing it as good as it gets. What I can say for now after listening this evening is that there's no way I will be sending the Yggy GS2 back! :D
