How do you feel about all Pentaconn? Those are balanced, two channel, and take less space than an RCA. Yeah, I still don't like them either. Not on full-sized products, anyway.

How about phone plugs?

Is there a simple way to convert SOL to have balanced outputs with a Denon 103 MC cartridge?

Maybe Snake Oil would be able to supply a replacement cable (or external box) given the tonearm wires output is modular? Plug into the end of the tonearm leads via a protected version of the regular teeth connectors and output XLR?

Could be wrong, but you could make a custom cable - center pin of RCA goes to pin 2 on XLR, outer of RCA goes to pin 3, ground connection goes to pin 1 on both XLR's

You're thinking about it wrong. The Niro being so squared off has all that wonderful space in the back, so you should convert it to a MR layout, have the 427 behind you and the blower intake on the roof.

Again, I'm not against change. Just know that it frequently not as simple, or inexpensive, as you might think. Keep making suggestions; please make well-reasoned cases for them, especially if you can get a "more sales" justification in there; just don't be surprised when we can't do them all.

2. Also a switch to use only 2 Pre tubes on amp like Jot3 when using Line Out instead of using all 4 tubes on those amp because power tubes are not needed for Pre?

The only reason I see for having a loop incorporated into a Schiit preamp/integrated is to utilize the wonderful Loki Max for every input without adding user-end complexity scenarios trying to use Sys/switches and balanced/SE variables to get it all in before the preamp/integrated. Totally doable (as I have done) but it sure is complex on the user end.

Why are you running headphone amps/pres into other headphone amps/pres? Sorry but what you're doing doesn't make sense. You can buy an amp who's sound you like or an EQ to change the sound of the one you currently have.

If you want the flavor of a certain headphone amp/pre but more power, buy a transparent speaker amp.

Gjallarhorn is great as a powerboost for FV.

Or so how do you get around the wife'e moving her head to use the passenger side mirror - which exactly blocks YOUR use of the mirror - to indicate she wants a lane change? (Eye roll)

I had a surround preamp that used a DB25 connection for the channels. Worked great! Finding a cable, not so much.
