The modius size would be the last thing I do. By then if I can get through everything else I want to, it will probably be obvious what to do. First, I'm planning on just printing a couple mopi enclosures to learn the printer. Then I'll modify or redesign the enclosure to work with the Pi2AES-lite. Lastly, I'll tackle the full streamer enclosure. I don't expect that to be done until the new year. I also have limited time to work on this kind of stuff.

Very interested in the pi2aes lite modi style enclosure, I'll buy one when you get there!

We tried collectively to figure it out once. It was a whole thing. IIRC, the most cromulent interpretation was that it's a representation of a CD, since the music is encoded on the bottom of the disc, and there were some elements that looked kind of like a laser and reflected/refracted light. Unless there's a new version I'm not aware of.

The current iteration of the Lyr doesn't have an expansion card slot anymore. No idea if that's purely a space constraint issue (I think it got ditched in favor of the relay ladder, if I remember correctly) or an indicator for what's to come, but there you go: No expansion card slot, but it comes with a remote.

The Lyr+ abandoned the expansion slot to include an extra set of RCA inputs so that it is more usable as a preamp.
