No, there is no “house sound.” Pretty much impossible to design in compression unless you are deliberately using nonlinear devices that would not be used in any amp design, discrete or integrated.

I can’t speak to all Schiit products, but my Asgard 3/Modius E stack does not sound compressed at all. Nor does my Fulla E for that matter. What did sound compressed was my SMSL HO100/DO100 stack, which I put up for sale within a week of hearing my Asgard 3 and eventually sold the SMSL gear with no regrets.

Beautiful. Too bad it's not sold in the US - but t's not an EV so not for me.
