I'm a savage. I'm using line out from the TV to a Rekkr.

Line out (analog) is the sensible way to connect an inexpensive amp; one gets superb amplification at reasonable prices. Going digital adds to the cost with a dac and preamp in a way that makes no financial sense, if one looks at those things. So, no savage man, but a wise one!

Wait. It’s not pronounced “guh-JAL-er-horn”?

I think there was a missed opportunity here. You could fit a Saga-S and a pair of Gjallarhorns into a Gungnir chassis for a lower powered and dare I say lower cost integrated amp. Maybe. Probably not. Oh well.
