What do you do with a teenager that snaps the cantilever off your Koetsu Black?

Expelle ad vitam.

🤣
Teenager? What teenager?

This is funny to read because I
have family in NC and they were showing me their bbq once. Texas is the way, but I will say that they had this apple cider vinegar + red pepper flake bbq sauce that was great.
If you're talking NC bbq you're probably talking pork and even better if it's whole hog or a pig pickin'
There is also an Eastern NC style vs Western NC style when it comes to bbq
- Eastern is probably what you had - vinegar based with peppers and some "twang" to it
- Western is a sweeter variation - still with vinegar but ketchup as well and it will be more red in color

Getting into Texas bbq (I lived in Austin for some time) - there is no denying they have beef brisket locked down!
Regardless of location if you've got a skilled pit master at the helm you're in for some tasty meat sweats and a belt loosening.

Now, also having lived in CA for a number of years I also grew fond of Tri-tip - When I first moved to NC I'd get a blank stare at the market when asking about it, but finally found a local butcher who knew what was what :)

So I was bored and decided to take a standalone picture of my Schiit stack. For products that retail for around $110-130, the build quality of the Magni Heretic and Modi+ is insane. They just scream professional and industrial. I love them. Also I took this with my iPhone which is insane. It's amazing to see how far smartphone cameras have come in the past decade.

Probably. The stupid fuse kept blowing, so when I ran out of 2A fuses I went to my stock of 3A, and when those ran out to 5A, then 10A. Must have gone through nearly twenty Synergistic Master Quantum fuses before it finally dawned on me to put a copper slug in there instead. Duh. 🤣
@JohnnyCanuck beat me to the punch but I was thinking maybe a .22 Long would fit nicely. Built-in alarm when it blows. :smile_phones:

OMG vinegar + ketchup?? I've been laying low on the BBQ war but - no, just no!
In all fairness, I'll agree that a skilled pit master makes all the difference regardless of geography.

Yeah, its just a single ended 3.5mm to 3.5mm audio cable! The SHP's are sadly not balanced, so they only have one connector. And anything longer than 1.5 metres will be fine! 🙂
I will get back to you once I convert 1.5 meters to something even @bcowen will understand. 🤪🤪 Let’s figure the distance from his nose to his toes once he hits the ground after too much bar-b-cue and moonshine, about six feet but seven is better.😁

Lincoln on the front, yeah?
Lincoln? No! It's an Indian** head penny. Everyone knows that vintage coins sound much better than current production. 🤣

** Er, um, can we still call them that these days?

If you can convert it to multiples of a 6SN7 length, I'll be good.

Hunter S Thompson used to ask politicians if they stopped beating their wives yet? Some things are best not answered yes or no.

Never interject facts when a good story will suffice.🤪🤪 Will 2.124 meters be long enough? PM me your address and I will try send a few. Most here know I will help unless your last name is Cowen. 😁

2.124 meters will for sure be long enough, I don't even think my room is that long, or if it is, I never bothered to actually measure the size of it. 😂 I PM'd!
