Does anyone have a black replacement knob that can be used for Schiit's larger gear? Preferably not from Aliexpress, so that I won't have to wait ages for it to arrive.
I found this knob on eBay a couple of years ago. They had both black and silver. less than $10 with shipping. I will see if I can find the seller in my files.

That is where I thought I had gotten it from, but it is not in my order history. Odd.

My understanding is that it never made it to the USA. You are the first American I've know who has even heard about the programme.
Did you see it on TV here?

I remember seeing it in the 70's as reruns. Never cared for it.

I used to watch it, and remember seeing model kits of the different Thunderbirds at the hobby store. I used to have a metal battery operated Thunderbird 1. I wish that I still had it.

It's my favorite style of knob. I put one on my Freya S and really like it. I have another one for my Asgard 3, but have been having trouble getting the original knob to budge. The original knob has no set screw, but it's being very stubborn and I don't want to damage the volume control.

It was available in the 1970s as a syndicated program (e.g., like reruns). It usually ran on independent local channels (i.e., not part of ABC, NBC, or CBS). I saw it on WUAB-43 in Cleveland OH.

I wondered why the Air Force precision flying squad was named after a British puppet kids show. Then once I was in the Navy I realized it was perfect.
