Wow I don't follow Corvette news as closely as I used to. I had no idea the new C8s were mid engine. Heresy! It almost looks more like a Lambo than an American muscle car.

Nonetheless, it looks awesome and I bet it was an absolute blast to drive that across the country. Hopefully you can find some less-crowded roads than the typical LA freeway to drive it on, Jason.

Agreed! Mid-Engine Vette is heresy indeed! I've never owned a Vette, but hope and plan to at some point. I really do l like the new design, just believe it should be a different model and not a Vette. Anyways, as stated that color is exceptional! Very good choice there!

and Ferrari. I've always been a big Lotus fan and saw the REAL yellow (when we were choosing, there were only small model samples with color) and the blue nor yellow were inspiring. IRL they look pretty damn good. I'm hoping the LB red is too. It will certainly be distinctive, the 2020 models will be the only Long Beach Red models.

I saw a C8 (in light blue) on the street for the first time a couple of days ago, and it looks great: much better in person than even in the already nice photos. The rear mid-engined configuration and packaging will make the car tend towards certain proportions, so it's going to resemble those other mid-engined supercars.

I wasn't until the C8 came along. My neighbor is a huge Mustang fan with a Shelby GT, a GT350 and an immaculate Mach1. I just keep reminding him that the stock C8 is quicker than any of them to 60

He keeps reminding me that he can drive any and all of his cars.......
