Bingo. Not suuuuper exciting, but we'll have some fun with it. And all made in USA.
We had cake, individually wrapped, and snacks. We do pot lucks from time to time...but obviously that isn't happening right now. Nor is anything much fancier. We'll take care of everyone when things get back to normal.
As far as photos today, we're actually working on a new video showing more what we look like now. It's still not fancy.
Sounds pretty cool to me, a nice ApeSchiit T-Shirt would do me nicely, will they be available from Schiit UK or only direct?
Being an appreciated staff member must be nice, I have been at my current company for 6 and a half years and never even had a Christmas dinner or any sort of thanks for my service lol...
You get pins?I got my 10 year pin 3 years late. I'm now at 25 years and haven't seen my 20 year pin yet...
Bog standard grey. The first image that came to mind is that scene from Trainspotting. Where our protagonist goes into Scotland's worst toilet. You win today's adjective, @JamminVMIHow many hp in the deux chevaux? I recall they started with 9hp! 375cc air cooled engines. Love the two-tone paint! My dad had a bog standard grey one whilst we were in Laos.
Californians must be too laid back, cause that Swear Jar is way too cheap, at only a quarter...!
...with RGB track lighting. And bolt on a Schiitanizer (sp?!) on its side. All I'm asking for is the CD Transport.
...aaaand now I have another movie reference on the brain. If it feeeeeels good, doooooooooo it. 1976 cheesy and sleazy version (for what's it's worth, I was in grade 1 when it came out... and I have weird memories of my grandmother taking me to this flick by mistake [and me getting hustled out of there double-time]).It's amazing how the same discussions, debates and diatribes that have been going around among audio fans since the invention of Hi Fi continue to go around. And nothing in all that time has changed. The bottom line is: if it sounds good to you then it is, and it doesn't matter what anyone else or any "expert" might think about your choice. Just enjoy the music.
I took another look at your avatar, @GearMe ... I gathered Senheisser has released a re-issue of that early headphone. The HD25 ? Nice.Amen!
For my five year at my old job I was given a small catalog of items and was told I could pick one and order it with a code. Most of the stuff was not great, but there was a four wine glass set with a decanter that looked ok and I needed some wine glasses so I ordered it. This is the size of the glasses I received, with a pint glass for reference. You get pins?
