Schiit Happened: The Story of the World's Most Improbable Start-Up

Just want to share that I've been working in my home office all morning with my music server on shuffle feeding Yggdrasil via USB, then my DIY amplifier to my set of rebuilt Infinity RS-II's, and it's been a wonderfully sublime sounding morning. I hope everyone out there in Schiit-land is enjoying their music!

Been listening to my schitt stack all day at work. Today has been some grateful dead from october 1971. Foobar > Wyrd > Modi 2 Uber > Loki Mini > Magni 3 > Creative T40s. I have 3 portable 4TB drives of lossless music that I bring to work every day. Need one more to load the rest of my collection onto.
Wow! Those must be some long work days!

Actually, giving my ears a rest today. Been binge listening since returning from 2 weeks vacation in Sea Isle on Saturday.

I listened to The Wall from start to finish for the first time today on my wonderful Schiit stack. Even at work its been a good afternoon.
And you didn't try to slash your wrists? I dislike Floyd because it is so damn depressing.

Somebody know who Pink was?

Combination of Sid Barrett And Roger Waters.

Yeah, their stuff is depressing, and normally I can't take a Floyd heavy playlist. But it was enjoyable to listen to from start to finish. I also love most 90's alternative, but I can't listen to it very often because it makes me angry and depressed. I stopped listening to that stuff about the same time I checked myself into a psychiatric hospital (on my 22nd birthday). Best birthday gift I've ever given myself.

My favorite song off the album might be Goodbye Blue Sky.

Finally a correct answer!

I have favorite artists but they are near the tops of my favorite groups. Maybe one day I will find them depressing but it has not happened yet, and Alan Parson's work on Dark Side of the Moon is memorable, one of my favorite recordings.

I stopped listening to the Wall after a short while for that very reason. These days I am most interested in pre-Dark Side Pink Floyd.
