What if someone buys a house with a garage and doesn't have a car?
Keep the garage empty because maybe one day they'll buy a car...in my case that would mean, never.
Would I be a good candidate to use a garage for hoarding stuff?

It's my house and my garage and I'll use my garage for whatever I deem fit (which until recently was my Barbie collection and is now full of empty Amazon boxes which I will use for fuel in the winter).

** I may no longer need the Amazon boxes for fuel this winter since I now have a Valhalla 3.

@Orange5o sent me some wonderful single malt whiskey from Colorado then I noticed two or three other brands that had won significant awards. Coors uses a lot of Barley that is grown in the region and many distillers are taking advantage of those crops. Bourbon has to have minimum 51% corn in the mash bill so large amounts of corn grown in Indiana makes its way to Kentucky.
