Schiit Happened: The Story of the World's Most Improbable Start-Up

I like them both but who wouldn't want the better sounding one (I trust your opinion). Olive wood, please. A black finger lift would be fine.

Thank you!!!
I am shipping the one in the photo, there is plenty of screw access so you should be fine. I switched over to this one for a longer listen. When you change cartridges once a day or more and readjust settings your speed and accuracy improves.🤪 IMG_9083.jpeg

How it compares over time. Swapping carts daily sounds hectic but if you’ve got the rhythm down!

I have maybe eight cartridges both MM and MC on metal bayonet mount headshells so often it is just changing them over to wood. I have owned my Hitachi table for 45 years so the setup is a breeze for me. 🤪

Oh and since I am building wooden headshells I want to test all of them after I check resonance so that adds to why I swap them out.

Oh and welcome, you appear to be new.
I run two tables through the Stjarna directly into a PrimaLuna tube amp with Sonus Faber speakers and REL subs. In order to insure proper setup I also use Focal Utopia headphones with the PL for a listen.

And for our Norse discussions...! Heilung...! 😃

Oh, and this sounds great on my Bifrost MB and LYR 2 OG, HiFiMan HE400se stack at work...! I love the drum tone and timbre...! 😊

A Heilung show would be a hell of an experience.

@Lavcat
It's forkbearded. But you'll have to hold the phone with the screen pointing away from you to change any settings.

I'm convinced this week's new product is a pure class A Wotan that doubles as a convection oven. Temperature control is on the back.
According to @DACattack, his Wotan never leaves Class A anyway. The future is already here!

Managed to see a part of their show a couple of years ago at a festival. Looked like they were performing some kind of ritual on stage and I was immediately disappointed I hadn't been there since the beginning.

Im listening to Class Q amps these days....hence, the silence.
That's 'cause you've advanced to a level of existence where electronics and transducers are no longer necessary....just brainwaves. 🤣

Exactly why it'd be cool to see! I'm sure no-one who sees them leaves unchanged in some way.

@Syan25: Class Q, electronics so quiet you won't hear a sound. 🙃

The wooden headshells look great.

I have about half a dozen headshells with an assortment of MM and MC carts fitted, so that I can easily change cart.

I found it very fiddly connecting the wires from each cart to the pins at the back of each headshell, so I haven’t fitted one for many months- certainly not every day!:beyersmile:
