Schiit Happened: The Story of the World's Most Improbable Start-Up

@MindBreak Just had a break in my morning meetings and needed something to make working on this stupidly large and complicated spreadsheet more palatable and found the Lean on Me album on Qobuz. I'm a big fan of Bill Withers, and James is from Minneapolis, so what's not to like? Appreciate the recommendation. Glancing at his catalog I think I'll spin his Billie Holiday tribute album later this week.

Sadly, no "creature comforts" are possible at the moment for me, but happy you're enjoying yours.

Thanks, it is my day off so I am able to enjoy beer in the afternoon.

Those with cats might like their other current offering :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Late sakura season, Japanese Friendship Garden, Balboa Park San Diego 4/1/25
Because I'm not always listening to my Schiit.

Can't really fault you since they do not have a DAP. 😉

Easy: Because, why not?!
We like flavors, and we like to give people options.

That's why we think that flavors and options are a nice thing to have.
Hey ACP, if we take a balance control, and don't call it that but instead label it a "flavor" or an "option," do you think we could convince Jason to include that "flavor" on his next pre-amp? Puleezz?

(Or am I just flogging a deceased equine?)

I could have a drink most any day but yesterday’s whiskey sampling slowed my work down so much I need to wait till late evening today.🤪

@artur9

Hey, sorry, bit of a stressful day here. But no I haven't heard that performance. I will need to go take a listen. Beautiful piece by Dvorak though. It's a gorgeous work.

@Bowmoreman Thank you for the suggestion!

Not knowing where in the Peak District you are, it may be a bit of a run to get to Holmfirth, but it should be worth it.

Don't go to Holmfirth for the "Last of the Summer Wine" tourist industry unless that appeals, but just outside Holmfirth are these guys, I K Classics, where your MG will feel right at home. The cafe's open Wednesday to Sunday (the pie and mushy peas are easily up there with the finest BBQs from whichever state's cuisine is currently being discussed elsewhere on the sine wave). (Culinary note - mushy peas are like grits, or gugha - if you weren't fed (force fed?) them when an infant, they're incomprehensible. If you were, they are life-affirmingly delicious).

When my GT86 was in for servicing, it was up on the ramp between a mint BMW 2002 and an unbelievably well cared for Austin Healy Sprite, with a TR4 and an MG Magnette waiting their turn amongst a whole slew of other classic cars.

They're good people and have looked after me and my past cars (306 GTi6 & 2 previous GT86's) over the years, so well worth getting to know.
Thanks very much @GreyOldMan

I might can claim credit for this, but there was also that shiny new bottle of 21-Year Portwood that was shown. ;)
That one is not being opened for mere mortals quite yet. Nepotism will be involved as well.😜
