Schiit Happened: The Story of the World's Most Improbable Start-Up

What would be a reason to upgrade from Vali2++ to Vali3?
Go from good to great! Not a small difference. One is a big boy amp, the other not so much.

GAIAs on the carpet spikes. Depending on speaker weight, you might get away with GAIA IIIs.

My B&Ws are within 5 lbs. of the max for the GAIA IIIs, so I chose to go for the IIs. Worth every penny.

I've never heard a single accessory make a bigger difference in my system's clarity and presentation.
You're killing me, Smalls!!

My speakers are 44lbs each. They ain't no B&Ws and I'm pretty sure they are not revealing enough to benefit from feet costing 1/2 the price of the speaker pair. I'm sure I'll break down and get 2x sets of Gaia III feet and spikes in the future, however. FOMO is a bitch!! :frowning2:

We are getting the start of two days worth of snow at this moment. Finnegan looked outside then went back to bed.😉
Flew into Indy this morning with a light snowfall. As we pushed back off the gate to come back to DFW it started to come down really heavy. So heavy that we had to de-ice twice which means it took nearly 90 minutes from pushback to takeoff. The upside (for me) was that it prevented me from being legal to fly to MSP and I'm getting to spend the night at home.

I'm really sorry, y'all. I checked, but Boerne still sucks.
The joke is on you. I've started looking at real estate in Boerne. I retire in 5 years and don't want to be in DFW anymore.
Also, keep an eye out for copperheads.

Two of my fave test tracks are Level 42 - "World Machine" and "Leaving Me Now" from the World Machine album.
Crank them up -no brick wall compression, lots of dynamics (at least on the original)
I always thought that the original recording was kind of bright. Then I got Yggy and I realized that it was my old DAC that was kinda bright... <g>

Here in the north west of England, we woke up to snow, and it was lovely. Now it’s raining, and what’s left of the snow is now slush.
Even though it didn’t last last, it was a good excuse to play my favourite winter themed CD, “I Am Snow”, by York based musician Heather Findlay. It’s lovely.

I just wish that we had FM stations that were worth listening to here in the Bay Area, other than KDFC (90.3).
Alas, the once great Boston FM rock scene is long dead… W freaking BCN! Heck, WAAF was great too.

Now, only one: CRB

Indy got less than we did thus far but all is well here. Finnegan had to go out but only ventured about a yard into the snow and turned back.😁

I have not heard that album in quite some time. Forgot how damn good it is. 😀

Finnegan should add 'angeling' to his repertoire:
