Bend, having been one of the more popular U.S. destinations for people escaping California, Washington, everywhere else, has seen a massive influx to its population over the past decade (and honestly long before that according to us Bend natives). Therefore, one of the most common bumper stickers you will see here simply says BEND SUCKS! DON'T MOVE HERE.In a Boerne shop:
So for a laugh I tried it the Hifiman HE6SEV2. I normally only use the Jotunheim 2 for these in balanced mode as they need some juice. Not sure if it is the 100V rails and I'm admittedly at about 3 o'clock on the dial, but, seems to handle them without any issues. So much audio fun for a low price. I let my wife hear it for the first time earlier today and she was shocked. I own some semi-serious gear so she has heard great sound before.
What'll really pop your brain like a kernel of corn is realizing msrp on Pappy 23 Year is $299. It's a wild, wild, WILD fkn world out there for hype whiskies.GotDAAMN thats pricey. If anybody ever buys one of those bottles invite me up for a shot!
That vinyl copy is a near mint, rainbow label 2nd pressing.I have a vinyl of Primitiva that sounds like someone threw it in a wood chipper and then glued it back together. To be honest I bought it for the cover more than the music. But now I’m listening to it via Apple Music>iPad>Modi Multibit>Vali2++>Hifiman Headphones. Not so many pops and clicks in the digital stream.

Sad indeed.I missed this...
"Doug Ingle, who co-founded the heavy rock band Iron Butterfly and was the singer and organist on songs including their signature hit, “In-a-Gadda-Da-Vida,” died Friday at age 78. He was the last surviving member of the classic lineup from the late 1960s."
Awesome story, Mate. So, when my second company secured our A round of financing. I celebrated and bought a Pappy 15… I made it last 4 years; sharing it at the end with all my friends for a last cigar and bourbon night out on my screened porch. I have since been unable to replace it. My local liquor store guy had set it aside from his allocation and sold it to me at retail, IIRC $250 or so (in 2015).
It’s a great sip, but not at those insane levels. ORFBS - Old Rich Fart Bourbon Society; if you catch my drift.
But, yeah… Pappy
Aand, my favorite Iron Butterfly album is Metamorphosis.Love Blues Image. I knew the. Panera name sounded familiar but could not place it.
To be fair, his spaces, his materials, his implementations - none of them gave any meaningful improvement to his measurements. Other folks' spaces and places will likely vary some and offer different results.I'll have to agree to disagree with him on that one. Strongly.
Chalk 3 units to me, easy enough, first time soldering surface mount items and went together easy.Be always wondered how many people have successfully made one of those coaster amps. The idea is intriguing!
