I was thinking more of the Ramones. Blitzkrieg Bop and similar. I could put on Marilyn Manson so they would hurry to get finished and away from the sound.
I am a big fan of Art Noxon's research and writings. I read his treatise on room treatments a little differently; the room reverberation time (RT60), if not managed, would allow sounds to propagate - a.k.a. echo - long enough to mask lower volume tones and transients.
Darko did a series of videos on room treatment specifically to correct the RT60 measurements in three different rooms of his (Berlin apartment, Portugal apartment, and Portugal apartment office) showing resounding (literally re-sound-ing his rooms) success in all three cases with wall and ceiling panels. He also showed that rugs and curtains and furniture are near-meaningless in trying to treat a room.
I need to get moving so I can finish projects for friends on here. I need to go back and find a couple music recommendations from here, yesterday it was Rimsky-Korsakov. Maybe another genre today, I like choices.
